Eirene Peace Building

About us

Eirene Peace Building strives to eliminate the root causes of violence and conflict.

Human dignity:
Human Dignity is for us a status, a value and a principle. As a status, it gives us a set of duties and rights. As a value, it sets human dignity as something to sustain and promote. And as a principle, it sets a fundamental standard for action.

Humility and empathy:
We are able to recognize and share other people’s feelings and we are aware of these feelings. We have the power and the responsibility to use that awareness to understand how it affects people’s needs, perceptions and motivations.
We are able to create trust, which is the key element to creating strong successful relationships that in turn increases overall happiness and performance of our projects.
We are able to navigate in crisis environments and solve complex problems and adapt to changing trends.

Integrity and transparency:
We strongly promote integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all our operations and we are publicly committed to applying a standard of zero tolerance regarding prohibited practices, both in our internal affairs and external operations to foster good corporate governance.

Dedication to excellence
We will persistently create better ways of doing the things we do. We will not rest on our accomplishments, but will rather build on them in our personal and professional journey to be the best we can be and set new standards in the International development work. We will expect more of ourselves than our clients do and we will endeavour to exceed expectations in every project.

We aspire to make a difference and help communities and countries grow to contribute to peace and development around the globe.

Our team is driven by a desire to make a positive impact with the help of our partners and network.
We operate in complex environments in countries across the Sahel, the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Asia.
We consult, we design, we build, we bridge, and we operationalize critical projects in complex environments to promote peace, stabilization, good governance and development.

Eirene Peace Building was founded in 2017 by Zineb Benalla who is committed to peace building and removing the root causes and factors that contribute to the eruption of violence and conflicts and establishing a new structure within a society which contributes to consolidation of peace. She has a long experience working with International organizations, civil society, communities, religious leaders, traditional leaders, and policymakers across countries and continents. She was awarded Alumna of the Year 2016 by Al Akhawayan University for her outstanding career after graduation. She is Women in Conflict 1325 Fellow Beyond Borders Scotland and the Scottish Government. Her work was featured in 2015 at the UN security council Maintenance of international peace and security.

Our programs attempt to break the life cycle of recruitment and radicalization to violence and to build community resilience against the broader spread of violent extremism, including in areas where violent extremists are actively seeking to recruit, radicalize, and mobilize individuals.
