Eirene Peace Building

About us

Eirene Peace Building strives to eliminate the root causes of violence and conflict.

Human dignity:
Human Dignity is for us a status, a value and a principle. As a status, it gives us a set of duties and rights. As a value, it sets human dignity as something to sustain and promote. And as a principle, it sets a fundamental standard for action.
Humility and empathy:
We are able to recognize and share other people’s feelings and we are aware of these feelings. We have the power and the responsibility to use that awareness to understand how it affects people’s needs, perceptions and motivations.
We are able to create trust, which is the key element to creating strong successful relationships that in turn increases overall happiness and performance of our projects.
We are able to navigate in crisis environments and solve complex problems and adapt to changing trends.
Integrity and transparency:
We strongly promote integrity, transparency, and ethical conduct in all our operations and we are publicly committed to applying a standard of zero tolerance regarding prohibited practices, both in our internal affairs and external operations to foster good corporate governance.
Dedication to excellence
We will persistently create better ways of doing the things we do. We will not rest on our accomplishments, but will rather build on them in our personal and professional journey to be the best we can be and set new standards in the International development work. We will expect more of ourselves than our clients do and we will endeavour to exceed expectations in every project.

We aspire to make a difference and help communities and countries grow to contribute to peace and development around the globe.

Our team is driven by a desire to make a positive impact with the help of our partners and network.
We operate in complex environments in countries across the Sahel, the Maghreb, the Middle East, and Asia.
We consult, we design, we build, we bridge, and we operationalize critical projects in complex environments to promote peace, stabilization, good governance and development.

Eirene Peace Building was founded in 2017 by Zineb Benalla who is committed to peace building and removing the root causes and factors that contribute to the eruption of violence and conflicts and establishing a new structure within a society which contributes to consolidation of peace. Our Expertise

Our Expertise at Eirene Peace Building is rooted in a deep understanding of the complexities of peacebuilding processes, gained through years of practical experience and rigorous research in conflict and post-conflict environments. Dive deeper into each of our expertise areas to understand how we contribute towards sustainable peacebuilding.

Research and Evidence Based Interventions

Our research team’s long experience gained through research in complex environments help us design programs based on action research and local realities, which we combine with our expertise and best practices to design Evidence Based Targeted interventions

Rehabilitation and Reintegration

We have accumulated experience in implementing projects to rehabilitate and reintegrate returnees from conflict zones in the MENA region. We implement a Multilevel Rehabilitation and Reintegration Intervention model based on evidence on men, women and children exposed to trauma in refugee camps, war-impacted zones, criminal gang members, victims of maltreatment, and victims of sex trafficking.

Our programs attempt to break the life cycle of recruitment and radicalization to violence and to build community resilience against the broader spread of violent extremism, including in areas where violent extremists are actively seeking to recruit, radicalize, and mobilize individuals.

Civil-Military Dialogue

We bridge the gap and promote dialogue between civil society and security actors and encourage civil-military partnership

Capacity Building

We help develop and strengthen the skills, instincts, abilities, processes and resources that organizations and communities need to survive, adapt, and thrive in the fast-changing world.

Women Peace and Security

Women's priorities are central to peace and security decisions at all levels. We have accumulated experience in implementing, research and projects that address the social, cultural, and political barriers that limit women s full participation in achieving sustaining peace and ensure women's role as key players.

Countering Organized Crimes

We work with civil society actors to build an evidence base and understanding of organized crime, as well as strengthen local resilience and responses to organized crime.

Mediation and Negotiation

Mediation and negotiation are important tools we use not only in conflict resolution but also in conflict prevention. We encourage the contribution of civil society in mediation and negotiations.
